This special screening will take place at Cyprus House\, London\, on Monday 12 May 2025\, marking the official launch of this year’s festival. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe evening begins at 6:00 PM\, as doors open with a screening of a selection of short films from The Myths of Cyprus\, directed by Mark Kassinos and produced by the Press and Information Office of Cyprus. These short films\, inspired by the island’s rich mythology and storytelling tradition\, offer audiences an evocative glimpse into the legends and cultural heritage of Cyprus. \n\n\n\nAt 7:00 PM\, we will present Embryo Larva Butterfly (2023)\, a thought-provoking\, metaphysical love story that explores the fragile boundaries between time\, memory\, and identity. Set in a world where time shifts unpredictably\, the film follows a couple as their relationship is tested by changing memories of the past\, present\, and future.
