AKEL General Secretary meets with Cyprus APPG Chair, Shadow Ministers and MPs

As part of AKEL General Secretary, Andros Kyprianou’s visit to London, Federation President Christos Karaolis accompanied him for a number of Parliamentary meetings. Mr Kyprianou met with the Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus, Sir Roger Gale MP, Shadow Ministers Khalid Mahmood MP and Fabian Hamilton MP, as well as Catherine West MP, Bambos Charalambous MP and Dan Carden MP.

During the meetings the AKEL General Secretary discussed the ongoing negotiations to end the occupation and reunite Cyprus and how UK Parliamentarians can support the efforts. He also reiterated the strong support of the Cypriot people and all political parties to restart the negotiations and find a deal that reunites Cyprus.
