Doxology for the National Anniversaries of 25th March 1821 and 1st April 1955

The National Federation of Cypriots in the UK invites you to attend the celebration of our national anniversaries – 25th March 1821 and 1st April 1955.

The Doxology will take place on Sunday, 30th March, at 10:45 AM, at St. John the Baptist Church, Wightman Road, London N8 0LY.

The keynote speaker will be His Excellency, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to the UK, Mr. Kyriacos Kouros.

We look forward to welcoming you all as we honor and remember the immortal heroes and martyrs of the heroic struggles of 1821 and the EOKA liberation movement of 1955-1959—those who made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their very lives, to grant us the gift of freedom.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the Doxology service will be officiated by His Eminence, Archbishop Nikitas, as we commemorate 25th March 1821, the national rebirth of Hellenism, and 1st April 1955, the heroic uprising of the Cypriot people against colonial rule.
