The UK Government has said that it’s ready to work with President Anastasiades, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar, Greece, Turkey and the UN to resume Cyprus talks. Cyprus and its people have been divided since 1974 after Turkey’s military illegally invaded and occupied the northern third of the island.
The UK stands ready to work with @ersinrtatar, @AnastasiadesCY, Greece, Turkey and @UN to restart talks to reunify Cyprus in accordance with UN Security Council Resolutions.
