Statement by the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK on Remembrance Sunday:
“Whilst this
Remembrance Sunday is different from previous years, we still remember and honour all who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, including the 16,000 Cypriots in World War I and 30,000 in World War II.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
Lest We Forget.”

Susie Constantinides, Chair of the Wood Green Cypriot Community Centre & a member of the National Federation’s Executive Committe, proudly laid a wreath at Haringey Council’s Remembrance Sunday event, on behalf of the UK Cypriot community.
