UK Cyprus Film Festival 2025 – Cambridge Grand Finale

The Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission in the UK announces the Cambridge finale of the UK Cyprus Film Festival 2025 on Sunday, 14 December at 2:00 p.m., hosted in collaboration with Panorama: The Journal of Travel, Place & Nature, at West Court, Jesus College Cambridge.
This special closing edition will welcome distinguished guests Ms Aliki Stylianou, Director of the Press and Information Office (PIO) of the Republic of Cyprus, director Mr Mark Kassinos and researcher Dr Iosif Hadjikyriakos, who will join audiences for a post-screening Q&A session.
A Grand Closing After a Nationwide Journey
This year, the UK Cyprus Film Festival travelled across the UK, from Bristol and Leeds to Edinburgh and the Midlands, with memorable stops in Coventry, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham. At each location, vibrant Cypriot and Greek communities, students, families and diaspora members embraced Cypriot cinema with enthusiasm and pride.
Special thanks go to the Hadjigiorkis Mill Museum in Frenaros, Cyprus, and curator Ms Styliana Hadjigeorgiou, valued partners for the educational programme How to Trap a Goblin, presented across the Midlands, Brighton and Edinburgh. The programme introduced children to the making of the beloved traditional Cypriot pasta τερτζελλούθκια (terzelluthkia), engaging them with the folklore and imagination at the heart of Cyprus’ heritage.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, supported and celebrated the rich cultural storytelling of Cyprus across the country.
