Career Support ?‍??‍?

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has seen ~700,000 workers lose their jobs in the UK, with young people hit particularly hard. Therefore, we’ve worked hard to rapidly establish a new platform that will provide much needed support and resources. The UK Cypriot Professionals Network (UKCPN) has just been launched to provide mentoring, CV reviews, networking opportunities and other helpful resources, for Cypriot professionals in the UK, of levels and across multiple industries.

Keeping healthy ?

Physical health

It’s important to stay physically active over the next few weeks and one of the best ways of doing that is with simple home exercises.

Personal trainer, Rico Joannou, has put together a suggested home work-out to keep active whilst staying at home. You don’t even have to do all of it, just a little bit of exercise a day will make a difference.

5 Rounds:
10 Squat/Squat Jumps
15 Sit Ups
10 Press Ups
20 Lunges (10 Each Leg)
8 Burpees/20 Star Jumps

You could even do some simple stretches to get rid of aches and pains and improve your posture.

Online classes and blogs:

Lorena Savvidou, Principal of the London Academy of Dance, has some online classes to help keep people active and healthy.
