Minister for Europe replies to APPG for Cyprus

Minister for the European Neighbourhood and the Americas, Wendy Morton MP, has replied to the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus’ letter that was sent ahead of the informal 5+UN meeting in Geneva. The informal meeting took place last week and ended with “not yet enough common ground”. The APPG letter was sent following representations by the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK.

The National Federation of Cypriots in the UK is the official, representative body and acknowledged voice of Cypriots in the UK. It was founded shortly after the illegal Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 to coordinate and represent the UK Cypriot diaspora, which now consists of 300,000 people
